Okay so the next meet up will be an evening one. I'm free evenings all week, nowadays, I have little energy or co-ordination for Zumba grin.

The real questions are when and where? Weekday evenings or weekend evenings?

The last time I went out in Bath was a long time ago and really have no idea, I think ages and ages ago there was a meet up at the Lime Lounge, which I've heard is good.

I know some of you need to arrange childcare so please let me know what works best for you and will get something sorted.

Well I have no plans whatsoever yet for January (apart from probably being cold, and skint). But yes, I will need advance warning for babysitting. smile

TeaGinCakeBliss Thu 29-Nov-12 23:23:45

Marking my place. I'm easy really with arrangements just need notice and have never been to the Lime Lounge.

Pixietails Fri 30-Nov-12 11:33:18

Hi,
I haven't been to a meet up before, is it ok to join?
What age group are you ladies in? I have 2 children but apart from work colleagues with children I don't know many others, even though I have lived in and around Bath forever! Starting to feel lonely!

'ere, can I come? We were going to go to Lime Lounge last September but the group became too large so we went to The Cork.

Otherwise there's the Cosy Club maybe?

blondiedoll Tue 04-Dec-12 12:38:25

Ooh would be lovely to have a Bath meet up in the New Year!

Oh and I'm easy as to which evening.

OoooShiney Wed 05-Dec-12 15:06:49

Ooo the cosy club I could find that easily! Lime Lounge, I do know where it is. I think I used to go in the shop that was there before the Lime Lounge though. I hardly ever get out these days!

All welcome...

bathmum300 Wed 12-Dec-12 22:41:58

I'd love to come if thats ok? Cosy club has been reccommended by a few friends supposed to be quite laidback and relaxed.
No idea were the lime lounge is tho .....
For me personally a weekend would be better.

twostep Tue 01-Jan-13 08:03:04

Happy new year everyone! Any ideas on dates yet? Tis my new year's resolution to be more sociable grin

OoooShiney Mon 07-Jan-13 17:05:39

How about Saturday 26th January?

I think the Cosy Club is a great option. Those out of town can park in southgate from 6pm to midnight parking is just £2 and the cosy club is accessed by going to the top floor in the lift.

Could you let me have an idea of how many to expect and I'll reserve a table for us.

OoooShiney Tue 08-Jan-13 17:18:07

Uh forgot to mention time... 7.30pm? any good? earlier or later?

TeaGinCakeBliss Wed 09-Jan-13 16:42:48

Sounds perfect. I shall put it in my diary. 7.30 sounds great.

<panics at thought of going to first meet-up>

twostep Wed 09-Jan-13 17:31:36

Babysitter booked - will be there smile

OoooShiney Wed 09-Jan-13 18:22:19

Fab grin

OoooShiney Tue 15-Jan-13 17:42:19

bumping for more interest... the more the merrier smile

TeaGinCakeBliss Wed 16-Jan-13 09:04:06

Morning Shiney. How many of us are there so far then? Do you think the thread has dropped off people's lists? It had from mine over Christmas - I had to remember to come and find you again.

OoooShiney Thu 17-Jan-13 16:43:14

I've heard from 6 people who think they can make it. I think it has slipped off the radar... will send a reminder on the meet-up thingy... if it'll let me... some of the buttons still don't work, but we'll get there smile

saltycaramel Tue 22-Jan-13 23:05:46

hi, i twitted and facebooked it too, and will do again! Sorry I can't be theresmile

TeaGinCakeBliss Wed 23-Jan-13 10:09:12

Hope no-one got stuck on a hill getting out of town yesterday grin

twostep Wed 23-Jan-13 11:01:38

Looking forward to it - as long as my mum (babysitter) recovers from her 3-week illness!

TandB Thu 24-Jan-13 19:21:53

I might be able to make this.

OoooShiney Sat 26-Jan-13 14:25:04

I am really sorry, but can't make it later. My little girl has come down with the pox. I haven't reserved a table as we were only expecting a few of us and they said they should be able to accommodate us no problem. You can either go ahead and still meet or we can rearrange for another week. Our Internet is down so Won't be able to check messages until it resumes.

TeaGinCakeBliss Sat 26-Jan-13 17:28:08

Poor little one. Hope it isn't too much of an itchy one or a dangerous one for her.

Dudes on the thread is anyone else still going? Happy to rock on up but equally happy to postpone grin wine.

TeaGinCakeBliss Sat 26-Jan-13 19:12:02

Erm. As there is tumbleweed drifting across the thread I will assume we're postponing. Ooooo. I hate not knowing what to do. I'm really sorry if I've let anyone down <channels catholic guilt>.

OoooShiney Sun 27-Jan-13 08:59:08

Sorry about that, just typical Internet goes down when I need to spread the message that little ones poorly. The itchyness kicked in and we had plenty of tears. hmm

We can make another date in Feb if that's ok. Really wanted to get out.

TeaGinCakeBliss Sun 27-Jan-13 12:54:46

Poor wee one. They are a pain - the pox not the kids grin.

Yes. Let's set a new date.

Hope you're getting a moment's peace and that everyone's sleep isn't interrupted too much.

OoooShiney Mon 28-Jan-13 15:16:29

How does the 23rd Feb sound, same time, same place? Gives us a little time to arrange babysitters smile

Was going to arrange a meet up for a lunch time/ afternoon cake & coffee at Farringtons Cafe, which is out near Paulton/Midsomer Norton area, during half term. Tuesday 11th looks good in my diary 1pm any good?

Had enough last week being stuck at home with the snow, now this week missing all our usual activities because of the pox smile ah well mother/daughter bonding!

blondiedoll Mon 28-Jan-13 22:35:10

Yes!! Definitely in - sorry I didn't find this thread earlier smile 23rd Feb - shall put it in the diary!

Hope pox is all gone and everyone feeling better Blondie Xx

TeaGinCakeBliss Tue 29-Jan-13 16:39:31

Won't be able to do the half term meet up - location being a small factor - but my oldest kids are of an age where they want to skank around doing teenage stuff but I need to be around to stop them fighting

But 23rd is in my diary. Whoop.

OoooShiney Tue 29-Jan-13 18:47:08

Tuesday 12th February for the lunchtime meet up smile I will put them on the Radstock and Midsomer Norton group meet-ups. All welcome, no matter where you are from. Farringtons cakes are pretty amazing and it's got parking on site and a few animals for the little ones to check out. The Cowtastic farm park doesn't open up until the end of March so we will have to take advantage of that at a later date.

Here is a Farringtons Link

OoooShiney Thu 07-Feb-13 16:40:11

Just found out the Farringtons cafe will also be doing pancakes on Tuesday. Yummy! I shall have my 2 year old and some knitting smile

saltycaramel Thu 07-Feb-13 19:48:48

What time is the meeting? I will put a note on facebook and twitter. Crepes? I think I will be coming too! Nom

OoooShiney Tue 12-Feb-13 09:14:51

Ok, today is the day for Pancakes. Meet-up is at 1pm @ Farringtons Cafe. I shall be the pregnant one that's knitting little person wear smile with a toddler in tow!

OoooShiney Tue 12-Feb-13 12:27:51

Just getting my stuff together and we will be off down the road... Mmm pancakes. grin

OoooShiney Fri 22-Feb-13 14:16:34

My word time flies! Meet-up tomorrow evening at the cosy club. Hoping everyone is still good, we've had a hectic week smile

Thanks for organising, Shiny. I had a lovely time (although my head is a little fuzzy this morning) grin

OoooShiney Sun 24-Feb-13 14:21:29

It was a nice [but chilly] evening, we shall have to arrange another one when I don't have a bump. Lovely to meet y'all!

TandB Sat 02-Mar-13 09:23:13

I was very hungover.

Oh dear!

GooseyLoosey Wed 13-Mar-13 13:11:21

Damn - see I missed this. Hope its not a year until the next one!

OoooShiney Thu 21-Mar-13 13:14:02

Nah, I'm a few weeks off my due date now, so will be planning another meet-up. Once this little one makes his or her arrival, I'll have more of an idea of when/where hopefully and with better weather smile
