This is an exciting position for someone who enjoys working with kids and is flexible.
We?re looking for a dedicated child-minder and diligent housekeeper, who lives close to or in South Norwood. The position is permanent, but term time only. However, the position will be salaried pro-rata, with the opportunity for the right candidate to increase their earnings.
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced (preferably with some training) and with references
Willing to undergo an enhanced CRB
Eligible to work in the UK with the relevant documentation available
Preferably Ofsted registered or willing to sign up to the voluntary Ofsted registration
Desirably, but not essentially- a car owner with car seats (must have driven for at least 2 years, preferably with business insurance, no points, a UK licence and have driven children before)
Desirably with their own liability insurance or is willing to obtain it
A fluent English speaker and writer
Able to cook
Able to clean the house once and do the laundry
Willing to do occasional evening and weekend babysitting (paid as an addition to salary)
Willing to occasionally take the kids to after school (paid as an addition to salary)
Willing to pick up children from school (this has the potential to form part of the core working hours)
Willing to attend the odd day-time school events to support the kids(paid as an addition to salary)
Willing to look after the kids if they are sick (minor illnesses only) or school is closed unexpectedly (paid as an addition to salary)
The salary will be for the core work of after school care, cooking and cleaning. Everything else will be paid as an additional payment when cover is needed. Adequate notice will always be given but on occasion, it might be at the 11th hour. Holiday is to be taken during the school holidays.
