I thought I'd like to introduce myself:

I'm 36, single, and mummy to the fabulous nearly 4 year old, Jamie.
I'm a WAHM selling nappies, and play around with web design in the hope that it will one day provide me with the income the nappies fail to bring!

Just a little hello, but I thought it'd bring some other locals out of the woodwork :

clayre Sun 06-Jan-08 13:32:15

dingdong05 Fri 11-Jan-08 00:11:12

I'm doing the baby fair too!
In fact I'm doing the website for the baby fair blush I don't know if you were told but I can do a special page for every stall holder so please get in touch and give me a bit of blurb and contact details and I'll get it in!

Sorry for wandering off topic gals!

Klaw Sat 12-Jan-08 22:56:06

Ok Dingdong, I'm heading off to the website to contact you now! smile

Klaw Sat 12-Jan-08 23:00:11

OK, dingdong, I'm not sure if any of the contact things on the site go to you and you don't accept CATs so I'm not sure how best to contact you.

You can get my URL via my profile, and contact me via that. Feel free to do what you can with the info on my site.

dingdong05 Mon 14-Jan-08 23:03:16

You can contact me through the website or email

Hello All

I'm a mum of 3 living in Dundee. I have 3 children, aged 5, 3 and 1, (and 1 cat!).
Brand new to mumsnet :-)

Klaw Thu 17-Jan-08 12:47:20

littlepinkpixie Fri 18-Jan-08 09:35:47

Hello Klaw, Clayre and dingdong05

Thanks for the welcome!

I'm not going to be at the baby fair unfortuanatly. Have to admit to being very tempted to go along and look at cute baby things, but as my youngest is now 1 year old, and no more children planned I dont really think I should!

littlepinkpixie Sun 20-Jan-08 12:10:48

How was the baby show? Was it well attended? Did you all have an exciting mumsnet meet-up?

Klaw Sun 20-Jan-08 19:27:16

Hi LPP, thanks for asking! The Fair was steady but not overly busy.

Dingdong is lovely smile

I mase sme nice contacts with the other stall holders and quite a few ladies took my business cards so hopefully awareness that there is a Doula available in Tayside and Angus will begin to spread grin

Hope my nerves didn't make me haver too much nonsense! or come across too eager and therefore offputting....

It was great to see all the little cloth bottom stuff and also the baby wearing stuff.

I SO want another baby now! wink

PinkPussyCat Wed 23-Jan-08 13:52:18

Hello! I live in the carse of gowrie, I have a 6 month old son who has just started solids, so keeping busy! I also have a cat (though not a pink one lol!)
Am gutted I didn't know about the baby fair! Would have been nice to meet up.smile

clayre Wed 23-Jan-08 16:32:00

where is Carse of Gowrie?

PinkPussyCat Wed 23-Jan-08 16:51:22

Hi Clayre, it's that whole big flat area next to the Tay between Dundee + Perth, where you will find Longforgan, Inchture, Errol etc. Farms + suchlike!

dingdong05 Wed 23-Jan-08 23:51:36

Hello!
Shucks Klaw, you're pretty lovely yersel wink
and those cakes kept me going til home time!
I reckon your right about getting your name out there, though. I thought it was great having you there it felt like a proper holistic baby fair with you, and the sling lady ect ect there. When we (the DRNN) decided to host one I was worried it'd be nappy central, but there seemed to be a good mix...
Next step the Baby Show in Glasgow, which is a gizzilion times bigger than our little fair
And MUCH more expensive... I think the cost for my teeny stall costs the same as the marrayat hall last week!

This is a right cat loving crowd, isn't it?

clayre Thu 24-Jan-08 11:15:25

ahhh pinkpussycat i know where you are, i get my sense of direction from my mother!

Klaw Thu 24-Jan-08 19:04:43

I have neglected to mention that I have one neurotic, ginger, Dundonian cat (says 'eh' instead of 'mioaw') and miss, terribly, a black and white long hair'd lady cat, Ella RIP 17/05/05

PinkPussyCat Fri 25-Jan-08 12:56:29

Well my cat speaks Mandaringrin
(only when she is very annoyed lol!)

Klaw, I would love a dog... but stuggling with cat + baby so probably not a good idea!
