The Citizens Advice Bureau in Hastings is looking for volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, who have a minimum of 1 day per week to spare, to join up and train as advisers. This is a great opportunity for mums (or dads) who have been out of the workplace for a while and want to rebuild their confidence, learn new skills or refresh old ones!

We are a registered charity providing people with free information and advice to enable them to solve their legal, consumer and other problems.

We are always looking for more people to help deliver this very important service. All our advisers are volunteers, we currently have over 30 working from our offices in Cornwallis Terrace.

By volunteering for Citizens Advice 1066 you?ll be playing an active part in improving the lives of people in your area and influencing the development of national and local policies and services. You will be working in a friendly office environment, learning new skills by undertaking the comprehensive, free training programme we provide. It's a great opportunity to get invaluable work experience and enhance your employability. It's also very useful for finding out about your own rights.

If you are interested in finding out more about this highly rewarding role, please call us on 01424 452704, email guidancetutor@citizensadvice1066.co.uk or visit our national website www.citizensadvice.org.uk
