Hi. I saw that thread too. I'm near Ormskirk. Anyone else joining?

AlienLifeForm Thu 29-Nov-12 10:54:35

I know - get the impression that some local sites are busy places but most threads on here seem to be adverts!

There's a thread on main site with loads of Northerners on, I had thought I was the only one grin

Just up the road though, how funny. I would have been looking at everyone at school gates wondering if it was them grin

Spot the Mumsnetter is a very amusing game to play grin

AlienLifeForm Thu 29-Nov-12 11:58:10

Hi
As the nickname says- i'm in Preston!
Nr Moor Park.
I have two boys aged 10 and 8, and a baby girl aged 21 weeks. I'm not back at work until April so meeting up with other mumsnetters would be great smile

Hi :-)
I'm about to move back to Preston, but I do already spend a lot of time there. I stay with my mum in Lostock Hall at the moment, but when we move over properly it will probably be Plungington/Ashton area.
My DDs are 5 and 3, and home educated, and I would love to meet people :-D

I'm back over this weekend (snow permitting) for a couple of weeks - shall we meet up?

Penstosw Fri 25-Jan-13 02:17:15

I'm in penwortham. 2 boys 7 and 9

AllPurposeNortherner Sun 27-Jan-13 12:49:05

Preston meetup then? When is good for people? I can do pretty much any time over the next couple of weeks (apart from wednesday) as long as it is during the day and I can bring the kids :-)

AllPurposeNortherner Mon 25-Feb-13 14:12:43

Hi all,
I've put tomorrow as the next meetup date, but since not many of you have been able to sign up, shall we have another date?

Cannotbeused Sat 02-Mar-13 17:55:15

Hi, I've only just seen it and was planning on coming. If its going to be cancelled can you let me know.

Cannotbeused Sun 03-Mar-13 09:22:54

I have posted the meet up on the Facebook 'MN NW meet up' page too.

AllPurposeNortherner Sun 03-Mar-13 17:48:57

Hi,
Sorry about the meetup, Cannot - we never did decide on a new date.

How is next Tuesday for everyone?

I'm thinking we could maybe have a meet up during the day with children, and then another in the evening with wine grin

Where is the facebook page? I've had a search but couldn't find it.

Cannotbeused Sun 03-Mar-13 17:52:59

I can only do Sundays.

Cannotbeused Sun 03-Mar-13 17:54:59

Sorry on phone so can't link if you put in "MN North West meet up" to Facebook it should come up.

AllPurposeNortherner Sun 03-Mar-13 23:39:50

Brilliant, thanks!

OK, Sunday it is. Shall we say the 17th?
