Crotchet- Reigate!

Hey everyone. I am desperate to learn how to crotchet! I have needles, I have wool- and I have a book that I can't get my head round. Would anyone have a couple of hours to spare either in the morning, or in the evening. I'd happily pay about £15 for a bit of help getting started! Could meet in one of the (many) coffee shops in Reigate.

(Promise I'm sane- just can't stand to see my 'hobby' sitting in the cupboard doing nothing!)

TIA.

Im afraid I havent a clue but you might find something locally if you search for crochet (without the extra t ;) )
In Guildford there is something called crafts and coffee (find on fb) and they have run crochet coffee mornings in the past.
Good luck! X

I'm afraid I don't know either but I'm sure there will be tutorials on YouTube. (I learned a lot about home decorating this way!) Best of luck!

Hi upandover from your new Editor. I don't suppose you have a skill you could offer in return do you? http://local.mumsnet.com/Talk/local_surrey_skills_swap

Um... Um... Um... I'm not a bad cook, can sew on beautiful patches onto children's trousers and am a dab hand with the Hoover! (God, how exciting do I sound!)

If all else fails, I learned to crochet at very good Saturday classes in Kingswood. The teacher's name is Sylvia, her email address is syl832@hotmail.co.uk, and I got her details from the UK Handknitting association:

Good luck!
