Skills sharing in Battersea

Hi - I'm involved with Link Up Battersea, an initiative that is connecting skilled volunteers to high impact projects at charitable organisations around Battersea. Most projects have short timeframes and work can be done during times convenient for the volunteer. This is a really great way to get involved in the community, share professional skills and help an organisation to do its job better and impact more people.

The initiative was partially set up with professional women who had taken time off from work in mind as it provides an opportunity to continue to use your skills in a positive way in the community but it is in no way limited to this group and is open to all people with a skill they are willing to share.

Skills needed are wide-ranging and diverse including marketing, branding, writing, video production, public relations, legal, finance, photography, web development, social media knowledge, event management, interior design, project management, and many, many more. As new projects come in, new skills are requested!
