    Hello there!

My name is Joan Christaline (Chrystal).

The observations are part of my training as a Child and Adolescent Therapist at Birkbeck University of London.

    What are the observations for?
The point of the exercise is to view how a baby grows and forms attachments to it's mummy and daddy from being a new born up till his/her first birthday.

    When does it start?
The observations are supposed to begin within the first two weeks of baby's birth.

    How does it takes place?
I would simply observe you and the baby in the natural setting of your home, for one hour, weekly on a decided day and time.

To be honest, I do not know what to expect as it is all new to me being a trainee. Nevertheless, I really hope to witness the beautiful bond growing between your baby and yourself.

I have also enclosed the letter from Birkbeck University to further explain the nature of this observation, which also has a consent form. I understand that you may want to think about this... please do! I'm sure you may have some questions and they are most welcome!

Finally, I'd like to thank you very much for giving this msg a read, I really do appreciate it and hope that if you are interested, we can come to some sort of arrangement, should you be happy to take part in this activity!

Please feel free to contact me:
    Email: j.christaline_clement@hotmail.com

    Thank you! Chrystal.
