Fpa offer a non-directive pregnancy counselling service to women in Northern Ireland. Sometimes when faced with an unplanned pregnancy it is difficult to discuss it with family or friends. Fpa can offer you non-directive counselling in a safe environment.
Non-directive counselling means the counsellor has no opinion about what is best for you, and is there to provide a confidential, non-judgemental and safe place for you to explore feeling's around your pregnancy and the options you feel are open to you.
The Fpa also offer post abortion counselling. If you have had an abortion we offer a safe and confidential space where you can explore any feelings or experiences that you wish to talk about in relation to your abortion.
Fpa is a member of BACP and all counsellors work within the BACP ethical framework.
