Volunteers are key to the services we offer at Birmingham & Solihull Women's Aid and we value their commitment, skills and enthusiasm. A volunteer is a person who gives some time freely and by choice, without pay, for the benefit of others in the community and the individual.

We aim to link individual volunteers with good quality opportunities, which might include:
Helpline
Administration
Counselling (for which the process is different, see below)

Due to the nature of the services provided by BSWA, volunteers should have the necessary skills, experience, abilities and attitudes to sustain the high quality of service.

If you are interested in volunteering as a counsellor, contact Fiona O'Reilly on 0121 685 8551. Volunteers interested in delivering counselling need to have attained the BACP Counselling Diploma and have already delivered 100 hours clinically-supervised experience.
