Explore Blakesley's orchard and discover the history of apples.<br /><br />Hunt the Golden Apple Trail.<br /><br />Blakesley Hall was built in 1590 by one of Birmingham's leading merchant families. More than 400 years later the timer-framed house is still a haven, secluded from the avenues of modern houses that lie beyond its gates.<br /><br />Admission to grounds, gardens and facilities are free to all: entry to the house is &pound;4 for adults, &pound;3 for concessions, and free for under-16 year olds.<br /><br />Closed Mondays.
