    09-Nov-2013 Report

    Local editor review:

I took my 4 year old daughter to see peppa in Croydon on November 2nd - it was brilliant! My daughter loved it right from the start! Peppa and her friends were playing hide and seek and popping out from behind bushes and a tree house. There was a lot of audience participation - or rather shouting and squealing "she's behind you!!" All the kids in the audience loved it, there was a lovely atmosphere and room to bounce up and down when it all got too exciting to sit still!

We all enjoyed the songs and sang along to the bing bong song. My daughters favourite bit was when the stalls at the fair started singing with mr potato! The puppets were great - we stopped noticing the puppeteers after a while.

It was lots of fun and enjoyed by all the family. I would definitely recommend the show and we would go back and see it again :)

    Local Editor Review:

I saw the show at The Orchard in Dartford on 26 October with my 2 year old daughter and her friend (same age). They were mesmerised throughout the entire show and I've never seen them sit still for so long.

The characters voices were very good - Daddy Pig and Mr Bull sounded exactly like they do in the TV show! The songs were great and included some old favourites for the children to sing along with ("Bing Bong Boo", for example). I heard a few mumbles that people weren't expecting puppets but for me it was better than seeing people bumbling around dressed up as the characters.

Enough audience participation to keep the children entertained and some delightful surprises that made me smile too. DD's friend cried her eyes out when the final curtain came down!

All in all, a wonderful show that I would take my daughter to see again and again.
