The Space Encounters activity day will give you a chance to get hands on with space science. Discover NASA's secrets, experiment with our trebuchet, gaze at the stars in an inflatable planetarium and create your own dry ice comet. Discover the universe beyond our own world.

There will be loads of free hands on activities and experiments for all ages to discover more about space and the stars with Thinktank, Mad Science West Midlands and The REP.

In the STUDIO

-Learn about Galileo using a giant trebuchet

The REP foyer
-Hands-on science experiments using dry ice
-Telescope workshops on the mezzanine
