Gaia's Garden at the Old Print Works

Sparkbrook and Balsall Heath

Gaia's Garden at the Old Print Works is a community green space in the heart of Balsall Heath for local residents to use and enjoy. Using up-cycled materials, the space will be used to grow fruit, vegetables and useful plants.

The project aims to benefit the local community by creating a focal point for residents to come together and enjoy, whilst giving the opportunity to socialise and meet new people within the community.

With the help of Kews' Garden Grow Wild scheme, the project will also plant native wild flowers throughout the local area to brighten up backyards, balconies, and public spaces in Balsall Heath.

Following Gaia's Garden Launch Day on Saturday 14th May at 10am, the space will be open to the public every Saturday from 10am-3pm until October.
