Turners has held a coveted Michelin star since 2009, as well as a clutch of other national awards, yet retains its neighbourhood feel.

Expect to enjoy courses such as seared scallops with apple, peanut, lime and coriander; roast sea bass with pigs head, butternut squash, lemon, basil and shellfish jus; aged beef with oxtail, king oyster, smoked potato, leek and beef jus.

Different menus are available on different days, so do check the website before booking (for example, only the £75 8-course tasting menu is available on Saturdays).
