The Birmingham Nature Centre has just been renamed Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park, in recognition of the centre's work with endangered animals.(April 2014)

There is a fantastic selection of animals to meet - meerkats, monkeys, pythons, otters, capybaras, pigs, lynx, red pandas, wallabies, and guinea pigs.

Feeding times are well-advertised at the entrance and you will usually find your visit coincides with one of them.

There is a very good cafe, with meal-deal lunch boxes for children, and a new soft-play area inside so the children can let off steam. The outdoor play area is very popular too.

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
