Lantern Parade from outside the Town Hall to the Cathedral ending with a Firework Spectacular for the start of Late Night Opening at Blackburn Cathedral.

Meet outside the Town Hall on King William St from 5.30 to collect lanterns. Parade leaves at 6pm.Fireworks at 7pm.

Join hundreds of people for the lantern parade helping to carry lanterns large and small.

Volunteers needed for carrying large candle-lit lanterns or come to a workshop on Blackburn markets on Sat 24th Nov, 1st Dec, 8th Dec from 1-4pm and make your own at our free workshops.

For fire and road safety reasons, if you are taking part in the parade, please:
Wear sensible shoes
Tie back long hair
Do not wear loose, trailing or easily flammable clothes e.g. shell suits
Children MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult
