We visited The Hunsworth today, it is very handily situated just off Junction 26 of the M62 on the A58 towards Leeds. Inside we certainly could not hear the traffic. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and it was steadily busy for a Tuesday lunchtime. The restaurant was spacious, clean and suitable for wheelchairs/pushchairs and children. It was modern but comfortable.
The menu had a nice variety of choice, with plenty of vegetarian options, and an interesting children's menu. There was a Daytime Deal menu too which had items at a cheaper rate.
The waitress was friendly and efficient, and the service was great.
The food was good, hot and tasty, and portion sizes were good.
We enjoyed our meal out here.

Located on the outskirts of Bradford at the bottom of the M606, this restaurant is easy to get to by car with plenty of parking available. There are good facilities for both young and old, with plenty of space to maneuver and store a buggy or a wheelchair if needed.

The menu is modern pub fare and is able to cater for the entire family, with a two different menus for young and older children and a wide range of options for adults. Vegetarians are well catered for, as are those with smaller appetites. The child menu is well illustrated, so pre-reading children are able to choose their meal independently.

The restaurant is in a good state of repair and the staff are friendly and attentive. An excellent activity pack is available to keep children busy while waiting for food. The bathroom facilities are basic but acceptable, though not exactly child friendly.

We all enjoyed our visit to The Hunsworth and would recommend it to others.

We had a get together with some friends on a Saturday lunchtime, there were four adults, a two-year old and a baby. We had 2 x pate and chicken goujons for starters, and then T-Bone steak, mixed grill, chicken and chips, and steak and ale pie for the mains. We were too stuffed for dessert! The menu was standard pub fayre, with classics, burgers and grills on the main menu. There were a couple of minor issues (like my T-Bone was cooked medium-rare as requested on the fillet side but well done on the sirloin side), but we all enjoyed our meals. We had a £50 voucher and spent an additional £26.22 on top (including drinks).

The restaurant was very clean and had a nice ambience, although we went at 12.00 and it was very quiet when we first arrived, but soon got a little busier with families, although most of them were older.

We had highchairs provided for the two children, and there were baby changing facilities in the disabled toilet, all very clean (I HATE it when you get a dirty highchair, but these were clean!). We brought lunch for the baby (and the bar staff kindly provided a jug of cold water to cool down her bottle), and the two-year old had some of his dad's chicken and chips, which were very much enjoyed. A kid's activity pack with crayons and 3D glasses was provided for the two-year old, which he had loads of fun with.

Our waiter Will was the highlight of our visit, he was very attentive and couldn't do enough for us, very friendly, however, I do think it would have been a fairer picture of the service if they hadn't known we were reviewing them (the voucher was sent directly to the restaurant, rather than to me, so they knew).

Nice pub/restaurant and very family friendly. Lots of choice and offers to choice from to suit most people, although not the healthiest to choose from! Great kids menu and carvery option as well.

Best asset though are the staff, really helpful and welcoming and really nice to visit somewhere good for kids that's clean as well!

    Will definately be visiting again.

I liked the menu at The Hunsworth. It's a fairly standard pub restaurant menu and there are a number of offers on it. There also seems to be special nights - when we went there was an option of all you can eat Chinese buffet for £6.99 (though we went for the normal menu instead).

The food was nice but I thought the service was a little slow between courses. The kids' menu had a good choice for our fussy dc - main course with 2 sides plus a dessert (or starter) for £3.99 and there were options for older dc too. The activity packs for the dc contained 3D glasses and poster, along with a number of puzzles and a pack of crayons, which kept the dc entertained.

The staff were really knowledgeable and helpful. All of them were pleasant and welcoming.
