This is a short, practical course on giving first aid to babies and children. It is ideal for parents and grandparents and other carers who would like to learn how to respond in an emergency situation.

What does it cover?
Topics include infant and child resuscitation (CPR), bleeding, choking, drowning, burns and severe allergic reactions.
You will receive a certificate in family first aid which is valid for three years.
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and to practice techniques. We aim to make the sessions fun and informal and to ensure that you go away with the confidence to know what to do should the need ever arise.
