Heatherton House School Nursery

disabled access

A lovely, nuturing nursery for both boys and girls within Heatherton House Prep School in Amersham.
Heatherton's Nursery aims to make the transition from home to school as positive an experience as possible. They work in close partnership with parents to ensure that they give their children the highest quality of care and education. Pupils start Nursery with up to five morning sessions per week, till either 12 noon or 1pm if staying for lunch, and have the opportunity to extend the day by adding up to five afternoon sessions until 3pm.
While the Nursery is co-educational, Heatherton remains a girls' school from Reception to Year 6.

    07-Oct-2013 Report

Both of my girls attended Heatherton House Nursery, my youngest having just left and started in Reception and I would not hesitate to recommend it. They each enjoyed every single day - all the activities, their friendships and their relationships with the teaching staff. They seemed to learn something new everyday, whilst in a safe, warm and caring environment. The staff are simply brilliant and communication is very much a two way thing. I always felt able to comment and ask questions, without being made to feel silly or over protective! Both my girls were sad to leave and start 'big school' across the playground in Reception but thanks to the Nursery and their wonderful staff, I know my girls have had the best start possible.
