This post will play a key role in the Mam-Kind study as a peer-supporter to help mums who are breastfeeding their baby. The study is being run by researchers in the Institute of Primary Care and Public Health, in Cardiff University. The peer supporters will be based in the local community and will travel to visit mums as well as contact mums via the phone or social media. The peer supporters will work around 15 hours per week. It will suit a warm person, with an encouraging manner, good communication skills, and the ability to listen. They should also have the ability to understand and feedback information. The peer supporter must have had experience in breastfeeding.
