After a year-long closure and lots of consultation with local families, a range of of new equipment has been installed at this beachside park. Along with the swings and picnic benches are a large wooden pirate ship with swings and climbing frame and a zip wire.

The park is now much more suited to a wider age range from zero to 12 years, and it is also catering better to the needs of less able bodied children.

This is a brilliant beach side spot, especially on a windy day when the walk alone back from the beach is bracing and can be enough of a diversion!

It is not a huge space - the beach is wide open and because of the dunes there is still plenty of room to run about even at low tide - but there is plenty to do here.

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.

Brilliant spot! Great to head to when we don't want to stray too far from Truro especially in the winter! We have had enough wet windy days this year and there is enough diversion here to keep my 2 boys entertained. We love kicking a football over the dunes and bringing a BBQ down if the weather is warm.
This is a really family friendly beach and the park jsut adds a little extra something for the kids... especially now it has a super-fast zipwire!!
