The aim of this conversation club is to offer a relaxed, friendly setting for anyone wanting an informal way of practising their spoken French.

The French Conversation Club will meet at the Merienda cafe in Station Street, Cockermouth on Thursdays, with each session lasting an hour.

The sessions are aimed at people who want to develop their language skills or simply share an interest in the culture of France and other Francophone countries. There will be two sessions every Thursday, the first from 6.30 to 7.30 pm for lower level speakers and the second from 7.30 pm to 8.30 for more advanced speakers. Group members are encouraged to get involved and suggest ideas for discussion topics and activities.

This class is for adult speakers.
