The Big Fun Runs are 5km untimed runs staged within scenic parks throughout the UK. Here you will find a relaxed atmosphere suitable for all the family where you can accomplish your personal goals; whether you are raising money for a worthwhile cause close to your heart, remembering a loved one or simply keeping active, the Big Fun Run is the ideal event for beginners and experienced runners alike.
The run starts and finishes alongside the River Derwent not far from the Rowing Club. The course visits every corner of the park as well as running through its interior. A mixture of grades of paths and with some elevation to climb the course is very enjoyable with views of Derby as well as the mixed woodland that grows throughout the park. The start/finish area will be indicated by a large inflatable archway.
