A fantastic activity for adults and children alike, grades are truly earned and internationally recognised (used in GCSE/A-Level PE).
All Torbay Karate Club instructors are Black Belts, qualified, insured, hold current first aid qualifications and are Enhanced CRB (DBS) checked. Our club's Chief Instructor Ray Alsop is a 5th Dan Black Belt and our grading instructor is the legendary Sensei Andy Sherry (9th Dan) who was the first person in Britain to be awarded a Black Belt in Shotokan Karate.
