We had a great day out during half term at the Golden Hind. We were afraid it would be a bit theme-parky, but the actor playing a Captain Jack Sparrow-type pirate was spot-on and my boys were thrilled. They learnt lots about the Tudors too, and actually partook of the kids' activity collecting stamps around the ship. Then we had a great time boat-spotting around the harbour and eating fish and chips - fab!
