Treecalm Baby Massage is for the early weeks, around 3 -12weeks. As well as teaching you how to massage your baby It incorporates some yoga for baby , with stretches and breathing to calm mums too.
From around 9 weeks babies can move on from massage to Mum and Baby Yoga. This is a fun, relaxing, joyful and beneficial class which truly benefits both of you.
Both classes can be helpful for common baby issues like digestive discomfort, colic, sleeplessness, and later, frustration when babies are trying to get moving! You will learn lots of useful tips.
Classes also in Newton Abbot on Thursdays.
Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
Lovely class. Yoga for you
and your baby. Learn about different ways to carry your baby safely and fun swinging etc for your baby. Some lovely interaction with your baby and some time to relax. Would definitely recommended it.
We started baby massage when my little girl was 6 weeks old- this was a brilliant way to get out and meet new people. It also gave me some great ideas about things I could do at home to relax her before bedtime. We then continued onto mum and baby yoga. This was fab. I absolutely swear by the humming breathe technique that I learnt. I was able to settle my little girl to sleep within a few minutes after only a little training. Mum and baby yoga was a great way to exercise with like minded people and a nice quiet environment for my little girl. She always seemed calm and settled in yoga and we both would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Definitely give it a try, you won't regret it!!
This is a brilliant class and would definitely recommend it. I started when my daughter was about 12 weeks old I think and at 8 months old she still loves it. Lots of people comment on how strong, flexible and refined her movement is. It is also a great class for parents/carers to be able to focus on themselves for a few minutes and also somewhere you and your little one can have loads of fun both doing yoga (and yes the babies do it too. My daughter is great at the flying Buddha and I can do the warrior pose with baby on hip no problem). I have learnt so much from this class and practise the exercises at home regularly.
Just had a yoga session with Treetots and my daughter loved it! A really lovely little class, I would definitely recommended it :-)
