Patisserie Mark Bennett-The Artisan Baker


All of Mark's handmade bread is made with only the finest ingredients and traditional methods, stone baked on the oven floor for added flavour and crust. Over time, bakers have added chemicals to speed up the bread making process and added more salt to restore the resulting loss of flavour. At Mark's, we use no chemicals and minimal amounts of sea salt, but ferment our bread slowly, over a longer period of time, to give a fuller flavour.
