Charleston Community Library

Dundee West End

Charleston Library is part of the newly rebuilt Charleston Community Centre in Craigowan Road.

There are 10 public access computer terminals available – 4 in the library and 6 in the Alec Craigie Learning Suite.

We have a good selection of fiction and non-fiction hardback books plus paperback and talking books for adults, as well as for children and teenagers. Our book displays are changed regularly and feature special themes. There are also newspapers and magazines for adults and children. A small collection of DVDs is available for borrowing.

Charleston Library has a variety of activities on offer including an Adult Reading Club which meets on the last Monday of each month, a Baby Rhyme Time on Tuesday afternoons and a Homework Club on Tuesdays. There are always school holiday activities and in term-time children from local schools come on class visits.
