Lochee Community Library

Dundee West End

  • High Street, DD2 3AU

Did you know that Lochee Library opened in 1896? It was the first Branch Library in Dundee and had 5,000 books. Now, with over 10,000 items we are still a popular and busy library in the heart of Lochee with a wide variety of resources and activities to suit all ages. We have fiction and non-fiction books for everyone to enjoy, DVDs, talking books, and much more. Relax with a newspaper or magazine while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee.

Come along and see what's on offer: you are sure to find something. Our friendly staff are always happy to help, so why not visit us soon. We are waiting!

Interested in computers? If you'd like to be able to use a computer but are terrified, why don't you give us a call or drop in and we can arrange a taster for you with either our resident voluntary worker or with one of our staff.
