My main beef is with accessing the children's pool in peak times - either have a wristband system and stick with it, or don't have one at all. The way it works currently is shambolic and unfair. We waited the best part of an hour one recent Saturday morning, having put our names on the waiting list. Frustration at seeing people without wristbands simply walking in with their children (presumably having said they were using the larger pool for which wristbands are not required) doesn't begin to cover it. It was only when the increasing mass of irritated parents rounded on the ineffective and apathetic reception staff and demanded that the lifeguards get off their backsides and actually enforce the policy, did 15 spaces miraculously appear.
I don't want to cheat the system and say I'm going to the big pool just to get into the children's pool, I'd much rather the existing policy was implemented properly and fairly.
It's a good leisure pool for children, once you can get into it.

Unfortunately this facility have gone down hill in a very short amount of time , I was a regular ( since mid 80's) but I won't endanger my kids , the changing area is a bio hazard! The staff are as useful as the cardboard cut out coppers in shops , I never booked the kids lessons because it was too much hassle , avoid the place , such ashame , ealing take control of our facilities please! Better.org just aren't cutting it

1 star for the decent sized swimming pools. Zero stars for virtually everything else - filthy dirty, horrendously poor customer service from the lifeguards, to the reception staff to some of the instructors (although some of them are decent and as victim to the poor management of the site as the rest of us). Really Ealing could do better than this. The lesson booking system is a shambles, the lifeguards more concerned about whether people are sitting in the wrong place to watch lessons or using their mobile phones than watching the pool or keeping order, no signs anywhere saying lessons are on in the baby pool so instructors waste half the lesson in the pre-school class asking people to get out. Children's pool to cold. Not enough showers in changing room - no sign ever of cleaners - toilets are a public health hazard, changing rooms littered with dirty nappies, even the odd turd and tampon/ sanitary towel. Absolutely disgusting - sort it out Better Leisure!!
