Ealing's main place to head if you want to be at one with nature and it's got some very pretty parts. For a truly peaceful afternoon take a good book and make a beeline for the walled garden - this is particularly beautiful in June when the roses are in bloom. If lapping water's more your thing walk across the bridge over the water feature and find a spot by the lake to chill. Look out for the jazz and comedy festivals happening here over the summer months.

    01-Jun-2014 Report

Beautiful park indeed, what a landscape!

It is included in the English Heritage Register of parks and gardens of special historic interest, grade 2. Few years ago, the council was awarded quite a large sum from the Heritage Lottery Fund to restore and preserve its historic features, as well as build new facilities. The works are well underway now and it's coming together beautifully.

There is a playground for both babies and older children. And the grounds are perfect for a picnic after a nice long stroll. It is very popular with the locals and has a real family feel to it. And, of course, we have PM Gallery & House there so take the opportunity to pop in.
