Oxygen Freejumping, London's first trampoline park, opens in Acton on 20th July 2015.

It's 27,000 sq ft facility which offers hour-long freejumping sessions with access to dodgeball courts, air bags, “walk the wall trampolines” and an obstacle course; Family Bounce sessions; fitness classes in the park and on rebounders in the modern ‘O Fitness' studio; a professional trampolining academy for aspiring gymnasts and Teen Takeovers which include two hours of strobe-lit bouncing with a live DJ!

A mezzanine level overlooking the main freejumping area offers a state of the art café with free high speed WIFI, homemade pizza and top quality coffee.

There are private rooms for children's parties, and the park will be great for local schools for PE lessons and after school clubs.

Local businesses & sports clubs are also invited to come down to the venue for team bonding with a difference.

    01-Aug-2015 Report

We stopped by for a quick look just before it had opened on 20th July.

It's a large warehouse situated behind Park Royal's bowling alley, right by John Lewis's depot. Parking is free and plentiful.

On arrival, there is paperwork to fill out so do allow extra time for this, especially on weekends and school holidays. You will also need to buy their grippy socks for £2 which can be reused. Lockers are available on a first come-first served basis.

Next step is a short safety video and you are ready to jump. That's 150 connected trampolines and 11m of air above to explore, plus crash pits, obstacle course, dodge ball court, basketball trampoline and more!

The staff are lovely - attentive, positive and full of energy.

There is a café upstairs with decent coffee and free wifi. Grab a seat overlooking the park and enjoy watching your DC bouncing of the walls there instead of your home :)

    There are baby changing facilities.

The freejumping session lasts an hour and costs £12.50 - great value for money, I think. They also run fitness classes, family bouncing sessions, events for schools, teenagers, businesses and trampoline academy with professional gymnastics instructors. Something for everyone!

We were there only for 20 minutes or so but both DC and I were most impressed and will definitely be coming back. In fact, I am planning a birthday party for my 7 year old DD here this August so watch this space for a full report.

TIP: Pre-book online and allow at least 30 minutes for queues, paperwork and safety briefing. Enjoy!
