Crafted W5

Ealing central

Arts and crafts novices and experts alike are invited to come along to Ealing Broadway on Saturday (7 May 2016) to make their mark on a collaborative art piece at the centre.

The event, organised in partnership with Eat Me, Drink Me, will see our partner charities, Ealing Mencap, Ealing Soup Kitchen, The Log Cabin and Marie Curie, work with the local community to decorate four art walls displayed along St Saviour's Wall, each themed towards a charity and its values. The collaborative art wall, where shoppers will be able to paint a section of the murals, will be under the guidance of tutors from Hanwell's The Little Art Room.

The event marks the return of Crafted W5 food and craft market, back for the third time in as many months. Due to popular demand, Crafted W5 will now run throughout the year, on the first weekend of every month.

Shoppers will also be able to get their hands on an abundance of locally-crafted creations – from cards and prints to toys, jewellery and homeware.

There will be live performances with a Latino flavour - the perfect accompaniment to Spanish food traders BOCAFACE and Venezuelan arepas from food truck regulars Guasacaca.

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
