Tudor Court Art Club

Tudor Court Art Club is an after school club for children aged 5-12 years old.

Young artists learn to develop their techniques and explore their creative and artistic talents by working in a variety of different mediums such paints, pastels, pencils and many more.

We educate students on a wide range of fine art principles such as composition, prospective, tone, texture, contrast, colour theory and pattern. We also explore different styles and learn about art history. Our aim is to arm children with a whole range of artistic techniques such as drawing, painting, collage and many other methods used by well known artists, so they can express their ideas creatively.

Each week we have a theme, usually based on a famous artist, designer or architect and their work, and each child gets to take home an original piece of work they can be proud of.

We focus in developing confidence, problem solving and teamwork. Group discussions and general debate is encouraged during all stages of the workshop in order to build self-confidence in public speaking and social development.

It's a geat way for children to further their skills making lots of artistic buddies along the way!
