Pregnancy workshop


Pregnancy workshops - Physiotherapy led educational and exercise classes!<br />It is run by a Chartered Physiotherapist so expert guidance and instruction is guaranteed throughout, helping remove the fear women have about exercising during pregnancy and after they have had their baby.<br />The classes focus on:<br />-Exercise safely during and after your pregnancy<br />-Reduce the aches and pains associated with pregnancy<br />-Reduce stress incontinence by strengthening your pelvic floor muscles<br />- Improve your posture<br />-Reduce pelvic and back pain by strengthening your core<br />-Flatten your tummy after pregnancy<br />-Make new friends and share your pregnancy experiences<br /><br />The programme consists of four 1 hour sessions incorporating group discussion and exercises which focus on the use of a gym ball, providing a dynamic surface to challenge the muscle groups weakened by pregnancy and birth.
