    27-Apr-2013 Report

Just one more thing to add......I indulged in a Mrs T homemade scotch egg - award winning, no less! And I have to say, totally scrummy.... And it was nice to see that Mrs T was also working there too! Everyone was very welcoming. Worth getting another star!

    27-Apr-2013 Report

Visited here for the first time on 26th April 2013 and was pleasantly surprised by quality of the venue. I took my 7 month old daughter with me in the pram and paid for annual membership (£10). She loved watching the chickens (which you can buy feed for, for an extra 50p I think - members only). The terrain was a little bumpy, but managed it ok in the pram. Went to the play park before heading to the ice cream parlour! As I had paid for membership I was able to redeem my £10 in ice cream (so my £2.50 ice cream was 50p and 2 points off my 10 point card).
Nappy changing facilities were really good, parking next to all the amenities, animals close enough to touch - I thought it was a little gem of a place and will definitely be visiting again soon to redeem my 8 points on ice cream!!
Just one minor point though - there was a baby swing in the mini play area, but it would have been good to see a baby swing in the Summer meadow too. Then it would get 5 stars :)
