Exeter Cathedral

Exeter Centre

Pilgrims and visitors have been making their way to Exeter Cathedral since medieval times. It is one of the most visited places in the west country. Built in the decorated gothic style, it has the longest uninterrupted medieval gothic vaulting in the world.

Visitors have always been made welcome, and we invite you to come and share its beauty and unique atmosphere.

The Cathedral is normally open to visitors from 09.00 (last entry at 16.45) Monday - Saturday

Even if you don't venture inside, no visit to Exeter is complete without at least a viewing from the outside. Take some time to explore the shops and cafes of Cathedral Close, or sit on the green with a picnic (but look out for the pigeons and seagulls!)

Times and prices are subject to change. Contact venue before setting out.
