Pre & postnatal Osteopathic treatment

West End

Osteopathic treatment during pregnancy can ease some of the symptoms typically associated with pregnancy including aches and pains (back pain, neck and shoulder pain, muscular tension), groin, lower abdominal pain, pubic symphysis pain and sciatica. After birth it is advised that both mother and child return to see an osteopath for a check up and, if necessary, for treatment.

Babies can often suffer from colicky symptoms, reflux and other problems all of which can be addressed by cranial osteopathy. Cranial osteopathy is a particularly effective and gentle treatment that can really help to ease the after effects of the baby's dramatic move from life inside the womb to life in the world outside.
