Cafe Rouge

Grand entrance doors lead the way to stunning mosaic flooring throughout the restaurant. French clocks and sun dials adorn the walls, in a nod to Greenwich Mean Time and history.

The lovely outdoor dining terrace and porch make Café Rouge a prime spot to people watch or just to unwind over a glass of your favourite.

Mumsnet review of Cafe Rouge new children menu: More choice than most children's menus: went with fishcake for DD and croque monsieur for DS. Neither when down too well but we chose poorly. My only suggestion is give the option of frites or another type of side (mash, baby spuds). Most children I know will just eat the chips. I wonder if there is also space for a platter of food for children eg. bit of chicken (not goujon), sausage and fish, veg, potato. Nice range of puddings:fruit lolly which they both enjoyed. Starters: warm bread, spreadable butter, crudites with a tomato dip though both didn't like the dip (me/DH did though!) With hindsight we should have chosen the pasta (choice of sauce) and burger but wanted to try them on something different. Extremely friendly and accommodating service. Having had the opportunity to try it I know better next time what we should choose.
