2016 marks 400 years since William Shakespeare's death and this year Shakespearience is back, bringing you what is thought by many to be Shakespeare's final play.

Amidst a furious storm Prospero prepares to take revenge... As waves crash around them so does the status quo and Prospero must do what he can to outwit his sly brother and keep his island and his position afloat. This bold reimagining of The Tempest will be performed by a company of students from local secondary schools who, alongside The Berry Theatre's creative team, will recreate the turbulent tale.

Expect romance, magic and visually arresting scenes as these young performers deliver Shakespeare's stormy swansong.
