I am a French native with a true vocation for teaching my mother tongue to children, teenagers and adults. After many years of teaching, I still can't decide which age group I like best: it is the variety which keeps my teaching fresh!
I have designed my own, highly structured courses to ensure lessons are essentially oral but students can revise at home with their booklet and CD. ( all materials provided). Classes are fun, varied, stimulating and rewarding. Classes are fun, varied, stimulating and rewarding.
Free assessment prior to joining a group for teenagers and adults so that I can ensure they are placed in the group that will suit their ability, personality and requirements best.
Young children and their parents are welcome to view the premises and come and talk to me in depth about what I do. Trial sessions are also offered.

Paty is amazing. My 6-year-old daughter has been going to French Club since September and it is regularly the highlight of her week. The whole group seems to love it and when we come to collect them after an hour, they say "Oh no, you're here too soon". Even when my daughter has been off school sick, she begs to go! They do all their learning by context, play acting and songs, including serving each other food and accepting/ declining it with idiomatic phrases. My daughter's accent is astonishingly good, without French being spoken at all in our home, and she is getting a real flavour of the language. Moreover, she doesn't seem to realise that she is learning and has enormous fun! I can't recommend Paty highly enough.
Paty has been teaching my children for many year now. She has a fun way of teaching all age groups. They have all enjoyed her lessons very much. The older ones still reminisce and sing songs from when they were little!
My daughter went to Paty's lessons throughout her GCSE years because she was not very confident with French. I am delighted to say with Paty's help she got an A, which was fantastic.
I can't recommend Paty enough.
"I wish I could have Paty teach me all day, every day" says my daughter. My usually shy son has completely come out of his shell with Paty. They both love and enjoy her frech classes, which are fun and lively! They've been so good for the kids that good that I decided to join the classes! I have attended french classes before but have learned so much as I have with Paty - her classes are the best!
I have been going to paty for French for many years and found her lessons to be relaxed, tailored to the needs of the group with an emphasis on speaking and listening. Paty puts 100% into the lessons and preparations o they are interesting informative and fun with an emphasis on speaking and listening. My children also attend her children's group lessons which they enjoy and have made great progress.
