Following on from her investigations into the area generated by her Arts Council funded Mapping Muswell – An N10 Paper Project the LOCAL gallery are hosting an exhibition of new, site-responsive works. The exhibition includes photographic giclee prints and exquisite sculptures, which are again made using locally sourced pre-used paper.
‘An exhibition of paper cut sculpture and photographic prints by artist Anya Beaumont. These intricate artworks inspired by grand Victorian stonework have been photographed in everyday locations in Muswell Hill. Combining the historical and contemporary and the familiar and not so, the artist offers an alternative and insightful view of the local area.'
