On Saturday 21 May, the Selvedge Artisan fair will open its doors at St Augustine's Church Hall in Highgate with a summer showcase of table tops, tea and cakes and plenty of textiles.
The fair will bring together a selection of 30 makers handpicked by the team behind the internationally renowned magazine, Selvedge. Visitors will be able to browse handcrafted products ranging from antique textiles and handwoven baskets to fine jewellery and vintage fashion and meet the talented craftspeople who created them.
Highlights include papier mache sculptures from folk artist Julie Arkell, brightly coloured patterned products and stationery from Cambridge Imprint, vintage fabrics from Rebecca's Aix and classic pyjamas with a contemporary twist from Desmond & Dempsey.
Tickets cost £2.50 each and are available from the Selvedge website at www.selvedge.org
