Following on from the success of last year, St James Church is holding its second 'Islington Proms'.

Eight recitals will form the core of the programme, which will run throughout the year, including a 'Kids Prom' in the autumn.

Full programme details are yet to be finalised, but the Proms kicked off with CANTALLINI CHAMBER CHOIR. Haydn: Maria Theresa Mass; Dohnany: Serenade in C Major; Elgar: O Wild West Wind & Russian Motets, with many more wonderful concerts planned for the rest of the year.

We hope that everyone will find something here of interest. Several of our performers have international reputations but we also look forward to the ‘Kids Prom' when we will be able to share the talents of some of the young people who live and study in the wider community.
