The "Deconstructing Mummy" groups are psychology groups for pregnant women and new mothers. They are designed to address motherhood from the viewpoint of the mother rather than a "how to" manual.
Mothers are encouraged to ask the questions, talk about what motherhood means to them, how they feel when their body changes, what happens to their sexuality, how the relationship with their own mother has affected them, how do they deal with fluctuating feelings towards their baby, and what happens to their sense of self.
This is a free presentation of the groups and the help they can provide in your journey to do mothering in your own individual way.
So come find out if you are a "Deconstructed mummy" after all!
