Children who visit the grotto this Christmas will be able to enjoy a raft of festive activities in the craft den, surrounded by twinkling decorations and Christmas music, before being called upon by a dryad of Narnia to begin the journey to the magical wardrobe. From the craft den, children will visit the ‘Spare Bedroom' as made famous by Peter, Susan, Edmond & Lucy, before opening the wardrobe doors and pushing though hanging fur coats to be greeted by Mr Tumnus in a dense winter forest. Winding their way around the trees, children can enjoy the incredible look and feel of the Penshurst Christmas grotto before they reach the edge of the tree line, where a very special gentleman in a red suit will be patiently waiting for them in his sleigh
