Gravesend Library is housed in a restored Edwardian building (1905) with many original features and a completely new building adjoining it (added in 2011). It is in a pedestrianised area of Windmill Street in the town centre. There is a Local Studies collection and a quiet study area on mezzanine. Public toilets on ground and first floors.

Baby Rhyme Time:
These sessions are for children under 3 years old, their parents and carers. They're FREE! You can usually just drop in but some sessions are very popular. Call the library to check before attending for the first time.
