Introducing SketchBetter's sparkly *NEW* after-school Art Club for Kids, led by Artist, Designer and Positive Psychology postgraduate Kate Andrews.
The course runs every Thursday in term time and takes kids on a journey through the nature of creativity and human imagination, and has well-being at the heart of every lesson. There are experiments, collaborations, projects and mindfulness. Kids learn craft skills, such as marbling and 3D drawing, as well as life-long creative skills such as empowerment, resillience, empathy and innovation. We teach kids to think like an artist, we ignite and focus their innate creativity!
Each class starts and closes with a mindful calming activity and includes group and individual elements. Children are given their very own sketchbook and are mentored through the course to build upon areas of interest. Children can bring sketchbooks to each class for feedback and encouragement - introducing them to self-directed study.
Kids can attend the whole course, or drop in to the weekly classes. Save by booking all classes. All participating children receive 10% off materials in Cass Art on the day of attending the workshop class.
