We Are Strala


We Are Strala is a yoga flow class which is upbeat, friendly and fun. Strala is a yoga movement originated in NYC by Tara Stiles, inspired by yoga, dance and eastern movement like Tai Chi. It is about moving in a way that feels good for your own body, flowing through movements that are easy and more challenging.

Strala is more about finding your own way to move, being in tune with your own body, rather than trying to attempt some ideal alignment in a posture. When we are given the power to move how it feels good in our own bodies then we are unlikely to hurt ourselves. You may find that your body moves into postures you didn't think possible when you move with ease rather than force!

This class is about fun, dynamic flows to build mobility and strength with a wind down into stillness so you can truly enjoy your relaxation. You will leave feeling energised but calm and more connected to your body and breath.
